Equilibrium Finite Element Analysis of a Shear Wall

Introduction

The EFE analysis reported here was undertaken in 1996 as part of a final year student's dissertation at Nottingham Trent University. It provides an example of how high-fidelity statically admissible stress fields may be achieved with a really basic mesh using EFEs.
