RMA provide engineering consultancy in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to industry in the UK and further afield. RMA has significant recent experience in projects where mechanical components have failed prematurely and satisfactory remedial design changes are required immediately if not sooner! Such projects often require rapid assimilation of the situation and a distillation of the problem into a simple model that can be used to understand and then rectify the problem. Other projects, particularly in highly regulated industries, require designs to fulfill codified structural integrity practices, whether Permissible Stress Design or the more modern Limit State Design approaches. RMA has experience in structural integrity assessment to a range of such codes of practice.
